TL;DR Amazon S3
CloudSonic uses Amazon S3 as one of four supported object storage providers. Store media and backups separately from your server with no egress surprises.
Amazon S3 is one of four S3 compatible object storage providers available on CloudSonic. Store your media, backups, and static assets completely separately from your server so disk usage never affects performance and storage scales without limits. Any tool, plugin, or application that already connects to S3 will work with CloudSonic object storage without any changes to your configuration.

Amazon S3 for Object Storage on CloudSonic
CloudSonic connects your application or WordPress installation directly to Amazon S3 using your access key and secret, stored securely server-side. Files are pushed directly to S3 without touching your server disk, and Restic uses the same credentials for daily encrypted backup snapshots. Switching between the four supported storage providers requires only a credential and endpoint change with no code or plugin modifications required.
