What is the difference between Core Cloud, High-Performance Cloud, and CPU-Optimised Cloud?

Core Cloud plans are the right fit for most websites, WordPress installs, and general web applications. High-Performance Cloud plans are built for workloads that need more raw throughput and memory headroom. CPU-Optimised plans are designed for compute-heavy tasks like video processing, data crunching, or applications that are CPU-bound rather than memory-bound. What locations are available for my cloud server?

Most CloudSonic cloud server plans are available across 8 or more global data center locations. Choosing a location close to your users reduces latency and improves site speed, which matters both for user experience and for how Google evaluates your pages. The CSX128 and above are available in select locations suited for high-capacity workloads.

What object storage providers does CloudSonic support?

CloudSonic gives you a choice of four object storage providers: DigitalOcean Spaces, AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Backblaze B2. All plans start at 250GB of storage, except Backblaze B2 which starts at 1TB. Object storage sits completely separate from your server, so your media and files are not eating into your server disk or affecting its performance.

What database engines does CloudSonic support for managed databases?

CloudSonic offers fully managed databases for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis/Valkey. Every managed database runs on a 3-node replication setup — one primary node and two replicas — so your data has redundancy built in from day one. Plans start at 10GB storage with 1GB RAM and scale up to 140GB storage with 8GB RAM across all three engines.

Is CloudSonic suitable for high-traffic or enterprise-level workloads?

Absolutely. The CloudSonic server range scales from a 1 vCPU entry plan right up to a 32 vCPU server with 192GB of RAM and 3.84TB of NVMe storage.
